Serum tests and urinary organic-acid profiles use different sample matrices and report different measurements. Metabolomix+ reports selected metabolites; it does not directly prove how every biological pathway is functioning.

The report presents selected urinary metabolites and laboratory reference information. An out-of-range value does not by itself locate an energy-production “blockage.”

Important limitation

Not a mental-health diagnosis

Urinary metabolites do not directly measure brain neurotransmitter function, explain why a medicine did or did not work, or replace mental-health assessment.

Clinical context

If you later book a separate review, a clinician can consider the report alongside symptoms, medicines and standard investigations. The panel does not diagnose Long COVID, ME/CFS, fibromyalgia or MCAS.
